Contract review analyst is responsible for a review of specific transactions, making sound accounting decisions on proper revenue and cost recognition and ensuring appropriate accounting adjustments are recorded in line with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
Main activities:
- Review and evaluate contracts and ensure that necessary accounting adjustments with non-standard terms and conditions are performed in accordance with respective guidance
- Understand highlighted contractual terms and conditions in order to properly evaluate accounting implications of contract language
- Review specific situations, make decisions on proper revenue and cost recognition and ensure that appropriate accounting adjustments are recorded
- Perform gross vs. net evaluation for vendor products
- Review out of policy claims and decide on the I&E category the claim should be accounted for respective line of business and region
- Provide support to HQ and consolidation accounting analyst with investigation of significant drivers for revenue and GP results
- Report revenue estimates to HQ and consolidation accounting analyst
- Act as business advisor in area of contract review and revenue recognition
Requirements:
- University education (Bachelor’s degree) – preferably in Economics/Accounting
- Working experience - in Finance/Accounting is advantage
- Fluent English written and spoken
- The ability to make fast and accurate decisions based on available facts
- Very good communication and organizational skills
- Team player
