Job information

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage complex projects to deploy, improve, and sustain Finance and Tax programs and processes worldwide
  • Ensure the necessary resources are on hand to plan and execute the projects
  • Lead teams that are represented by IT, business units etc. 
  • Review project requirements, making necessary adjustments to proactively anticipate risks in project deployment and sustainment
  • Maximize team efficiencies by through continual prioritization
  • Lead the project team through the project planning phase thru sustainment including proposals, due diligence, procurement, contracting, progress reporting, measurement, communication, training, continuous improvement etc.
  • Prepare and present business cases to the Management Board for approval
  • Participate in the selection, monitoring, assessment and improvement of project management methodology, tools etc. to create best in class project mgmt. processes
  • Ensure projects are sufficiently logged, tracked and reported in a central database
  • Ensure effective and regular communication of project goals, status, necessary decisions and barriers to the senior leadership team as well as functional work stream team members
  • Define improvement opportunities, process gaps, or workplace needs through effective use of assessment methods
  • Oversee system developments and implementations to ensure effective and efficient compliance and reporting processes are put in place
  • Deliver project outcomes per plan, on time and within budget to the satisfaction of business stakeholders
  • Perform regular expense reviews, approving periodic costs and expenses, reporting variances and working with stakeholders to manage overall costs at or below budget


Requirements: 

  • Advanced English (written and spoken) is a must
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international accounting/financial reporting environment
  • Demonstrated success in leading multiple Tax or Finance projects worldwide
  • Strong focus on process improvements
  • Strong project leadership skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • ERP systems knowledge (including SAP, and HFM)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
