Job information

Responsibilities:

• Define the Preferred Solutions to be used for the given region
• Develop a plan to utilize the Preferred Solutions on current products
• Define the benchmark process that should be used to make the Preferred Solutions (considering all local needs, etc.)
• Define the benchmark footprint that product should be manufactured in for the specific region of consumption
• Define the benchmark cost model for the region
• Develop the benchmark implementation strategy for the Europe region, negotiate agreements with suppliers and establish implementation plans (including improvement roadmaps)
• Define and manage the accountability process to meet the timing necessary to complete the project
• Motivate and train the internal and external teams as necessary to achieve the project results

Requirements:

• Fluent English
• Min 3 years experience in procurement/sales within automotive industry or in procurement within plastics commodity
• Experience in product cost calcuations is a must
• Very good communication skills
• Operational and strategic involvement
• Open for intensive travelling in Europe region (70-80%)
