Náplň práce: What will you do? As a Lead Data Engineer, you will contribute to design, development, and deployment of Caterpillar’s state of the art digital program. You will be responsible for: -Designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications for target system using agile methods. -Acquiring client requirements; resolving workflow problems through automation optimization. -Writing source codes for new applications, and/or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications. -Utilizing automated testing tools to perform the testing and maintenance. This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital in the US.

Všeobecne požadované znalosti:
Požadovaný stupeň vzdelania: Vysokoškolské vzdelanie druhého stupňa
Prax: bez požiadavky na odbornú prax
Znalosť slovenského jazyka je nevyhnutná: Áno
Cudzí jazyk: anglický vysoká – vysoká C1 a C2
Ďalšie požiadavky: What you have: -Knowledge of technical aspects of software products; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products. -Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements. -Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. -Solid experience in designing and developing software applications in Python. -Good understanding of AWS cloud platform – components, services, cloud-native architecture etc.; experience with IaC – Terraform or CloudFormation -Passion for technology and eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment. -Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms. -Knowledge of deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, Azure DevOps etc. -Experience working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum)
