The IBM CIO organization is looking for an experienced DBA who will collaborate with multiple squads and provide technical leadership to implement the email strategy.

This position is for a Unix Server DBA supporting our migration to IBM cloud services infrastructure.

Job Duties include:
• Build new cloud-based data center services environments for email initiatives.
• Assist with identifying and planning potential new cloud services, features, and capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to transform high-level technical objectives into comprehensive technical requirements.
• Formulate detailed network, storage, and compute design specifications for stable and secure computing operations in a dynamic cloud based environment.
• Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of network, storage, and compute technologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the administration of DB2 UDB V10.x and V11.x, Partitioning and HA for databases
• A minimum of 5 years experience in troubleshooting DB2 UDB issues in Development / Test / Production environments (analyzing db2diag.log / notification log / memory tracker / db2pd and etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in SQL (knowledge of DDL, DML)
• Demonstrated experience in UNIX and supporting DB2 on UNIX is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience in UNIX shell and awk scripting, in 24x7 production support, and willingness to provide 24x7 support preferred
• Demonstrated experience in moving data to Cloud
• Demonstrated experience with NoSQL data structures and use cases (MongoDB, CouchDB, Cloudant, etc)
• Salary starts from 2.700EUR, based on experience.
