Senior Electrical System Engineer (High Voltage) with fluent English

We are looking for Senior Electrical System Engineer for our client, a global leader in energy recovery from waste.

Job duties include:

- development of protection systems
- preparation of technical specifications for components and systems
- technical evaluation of bids and joint selection of suppliers
- responsibility for timely systems ordering
- leading discussions and technical meetings (client, sub-suppliers)
- dealing with Distribution Network Operators re. protection overlapping and interfaces
- supplier supervision during project implementation phase (incl. documentation):
o pre-inspection meeting/kick-off
o checking supplier documentation
o Q-plans review and approval
o performing/arranging factory tests
o construction site quality controls
o cooperation on preparing/defending claims
o monitoring non-conformities removal by suppliers
- cross-system interface coordination (cooperation with technical project management and third parties)
- active collaboration with the plant design, electrical and control supervisor
- close cooperation with product managers on assigned product manager subject areas
- regulatory compliance
- technical support for internal employees, trainings

Generally required knowledge:

- advanced level of English (C1) is a MUST, Slovak language is an advantage
- ideally 10-year experience in electrical engineering
- excellent product knowledge for protection devices used in HV- and MV-switchgears
- ability to demonstrate skills in engineering of protection concepts of HV-, MV-, LV-systems & generator units
- experience with integration of protection devices to a higher ECS
- system & project management skills
- ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
- just decision making, autonomy
- time management & communication skills
- knowledge of CAE Tools (ideally COMOS)
- MS Office skills (mainly Excel)
