Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an IT Architect to drive technological changes, to combine present and future architecture, to propose practical strategies with the help of technology. The architect will assist project and application teams to shape architecture consistent with application roadmap and corporate standards.

As an IT Architect you will be part of a cross-functional and multi-national team responsible for application serving internal and external clients. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, DevOps and good team player we’d like to meet you.

Job description:

-Analyze current application solution
-Work with the team to propose improvements with regards to performance, availability, scalability and functional interfaces
-Evaluate existing systems and provide advice on how to meet organizational requirements
-Collect user/client/environment requirements to propose the best to-be model
-Work closely with infrastructure and other IT professionals to design the solutions
-Provide project design, estimated costs and expected benefit
-Ensure that information systems are secure from threat
-Ensure that the technical components of the project are in sync with the business needs of the organization

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

-Working knowledge of Linux and/or mainframe
-Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
-Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (Java) and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Node.js)
-Familiarity with databases (MySQL, NoSQL), servers and UI/UX design
-General overview of cloud technologies
-Understanding of cloud native applications and container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift)
-Ability to design architecture, evaluate and select the development methods
