Job description, position information

The Financial Manager will be part of the SAP Financial Management team being responsible that all necessary financial planning activities for month / quarter / year end will be executed on time, ensuring the continuity of the financial processes and reporting.

The Financial Manager will be working closely with the global SAP team, the accounting department and IT SAP management.


Task and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the Month End Closing, Quarterly Checks and Year End Closing activities have been executed
  • Preparation and managing of yearly SAP budget round with IT SAP and Accounting
  • Continuous forecast and controlling of the IT SAP department financials
  • Ensure monthly overview of SAP financial actuals and forecast
  • Prepare and ensure budget transfer topics with owners and provide analysis for clarifications with accounting department
  • Regular reporting to SAP Management
  • Managing and data entry of productivity measures in the respective tools
  • Regular financial management and clarification requests from SAP and other teams

Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills

Education:

    University degree in finance, accounting or similar


Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting
  • Minimum 3-5 years User experience with ERP / Financial systems (SAP)



Technical Skills:

  • Must demonstrate expert level knowledge of financial processes and terminology
  • Must be expert in the use of SAP ERP financial systems
  • Must be proficient with usage of reporting tools Business Intelligence, QlikView or QlikSense, Office suite (Excel / PowerPoint / Word)
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager Change Management constitutes a plus
