SAP Financial Specialist (GDC)

The Financial Specialist will be part of the SAP Financial Management team being responsible that all necessary financial activities for month / quarter / year end will be executed on time, ensuring the continuity of the financial processes and reporting.

The specialist will be working closely with the global SAP team as well as its suppliers and contractors and with the accounting department.

Task and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the monthly controlling process for the IT SAP department

You are responsible for the invoicing process with the suppliers, including checks, approvals and clarifications

Check and communicate the necessary accrual activities and update the necessary reports

Create a monthly reporting overview of the actual incurred costs and forecasts for suppliers

Configure the Change Management Tool from financial point of view

Support project managers with cost controlling, reports and analysis

Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills

Education:

University degree in finance, accounting or similar

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting

1-3 years User experience with ERP / Financial systems (SAP)

Technical Skills:

Must be able to demonstrate sound functional understanding and knowledge of the financial processes, concepts and terminology

Must be proficient with usage of reporting tools QlikView or QlikSense, Office suite (Excel / Powerpoint / Word)

Must be proficient with SAP ERP financial system

Experience with SAP Solution Manager Change Management constitutes a plus
