The Application Manager for Pega will be part of the Siemens Healthineers team to provide an IT

service for Pega Applications running on the Pega BPM platform. Pega BPM is provided as PaaS

solution and integrated in the SHS IT infrastructure.


With Pega BPM business processes are supported in the following areas:

  • Customer Services Material Logistics
  • Change Management
  • Order To Cash
  • Procurement

Task and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the application throughout its whole life cycle
  • Taking responsibility for the organization of the application and its documentation
  • Supporting the rollout with e.g. user trainings
  • Managing changes, demands and service continuity
  • Ensuring that requirements e.g. quality or data privacy are met
  • Coordinating external partners or suppliers
  • Planning and controlling budgets
  • Creating and executing tests
  • Drive and teach business and partners the agile methodology in delivering projects
Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills:
  • Advanced Degree in Economics/Computer Science or another relevant department
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible relevant experience in analysis, requirement gathering, design and development of enterprise application systems
  • Experience in a related field of work e.g. Application Manager or Service Management
  • Experience partnering with business users, IT teams: quality assurance and production support groups
  • Experience working with diverse teams of business users in customer organizations on definition and implementation of business process changes.
  • Abstraction of complex topic and preparation for common business and IT decision
  • Ability to work with very little supervision
  • Being an excellent team player
  • Experience in leading and coaching teams using agile methods
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in/with multicultural teams e.g. from Germany or America as well
