We are looking for Java/J2EE Developers who will be working on further development and maintenance of applications at various clients' infrastructure.


Position is located in Bratislava, Kosice or Banska Bystrica.


What would be your job?

You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting Java based components and interfaces. You will apply your understanding of various coding methodologies and tools and know when to use each method to achieve the desired outcomes. That might also require to work "beyond" pure programming and take part in the full software development lifecycle. As such, you should be able to transform requirements into stipulations and identify application issues, and recommending changes to improve the established processes. During this process, you will use your written and oral skills a lot, as we work in teams and also face clients in daily interactions. Your interpersonal abilities will come useful, as well as your adaptability and willingness to work in a changing environment.

What do you need for your success with us?

• Several years of experience working in IT industry, developing solutions in Java/Java Enterprise technologies
• Java SE knowledge (Java 7 and newer), including OOP principles
• Intermediate experience with Java backend programming
• Some experience with Spring or Spring boot or Enterprise JavaBeans
• Some experience with JPA-based frameworks like Hibernate, EclipseLink or other JPA implementation
• Experience communicating directly with customer
• Intermediate SQL/SQLite, ORM, and/or XML/XSD knowledge
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and tooling
• Ability to work both individually and in teams (sometimes globally distributed) - based on project type
• Having a good level of adaptability to pick up new technologies and design techniques
• Being self-motivated and organized
• Solid communication skills (oral and written), and willingness to develop them further
• Bachelor’s Computer Science, MIS or related experience

Nice to have

• Basic Eclipse plugin concept knowledge, or Intermediate SWT/JFace is an advantage
