We would like to welcome new senior mainframe people within our global teams in IBM CIC Brno. Our mission is to cooperate with major client with their mission critical workload, mainly to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot their LPARs and products inside. Our teams are providing steady state support / production operations and also they are part of mainframe projects. We have wide range of positions, now open mainly for z/OS system support / CICS&MQ / DB2 / Capacity & Performance specialist and finally Security system specialist.What will be your key responsibilities?
• Interacting and working with IBM teams and clients on issue resolution
• Performing system administration activities on Mainframe LPARs
• Managing systems towards compliance with corporate security policies
• Installation and version upgrade of Mainframe software associated with the job profile (CICS&DB2/Capacity&Performance/Storage/System Automation/z/OS System Support)
• Possibility to cover on call (stand by) duties
• Architecture analysis and design
• Performance monitoring and tuning
• Performing advanced troubleshooting
• Security issues analysis and defect prevention
• Root cause analysis
• Multi-environment knowledge of supported systems, maintaining operational documentation
• Problem and change management
What you need to be successful:
• Experience for one of those job profiles (CICS&DB2/Capa&Perf/Storage/System Automation/zOS System Support) in production environment – at least 2 year
• Trouble shooting experience, knowledge of ITIL methodology
• Intermediate English skills
