Your Role and Responsibilities :As an accounting analyst at IBM you'll be a key player in all aspects of strategic payments planning. You will make significant contributions to high-profile operational initiatives as the business continues to grow globally.
What you will do:
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with corporate and country legislation and guidance
- Supervise and ensure all financial transaction in the general ledger are correct and auditable
- Act as advisor to sales and operational units on accounting, financial and legal requirements
- Support units with reports and analysis to facilitate planning
What we expect from you:
Required Expertise:
- University education (Bachelor’s degree) – preferably in Economics, Finance, Accounting or relevant working experience
- Fluent English written and spoken
- MS Excel user (Pivot tables/VLOOKUP)
- Problem solving, logical thinking, analytical skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Team player, willing to learn new things
Preferred Expertise:
- 1-2 years working experience in Finance/Accounting
