Job information
The Deep Learning Engineer is part of a small, specialised research and development team, reporting directly to the CEO of the Company. They will be responsible for researching state of the art machine learning algorithms and models, and building, training and optimizing proprietary algorithms and models.
Your responsibilities;
- Quickly familiarize yourself with business processes to identify machine learning opportunities
- Research and evaluate state of the art machine learning algorithms and models
- Select model features and determine training data requirements
- Find innovative ways to enrich company data with third party data
- Pre-process, wrangle and clean training and validation data
- Build, train and optimize machine learning algorithms and models
- Evaluate, compare and recommend machine learning algorithms and models under specific circumstances
- Help develop processes and tools to improve consistency and repeatability
- Ensure that machine learning projects are appropriately structured and documented
- Advise management on the possibilities and constraints of machine learning
- Promote a positive and productive work environment
- Help problem solve and educate colleagues about machine learning
- Your other responsibilities may include any other duties that we reasonably require you to do, which may change from time to time
Your qualifications;
- Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
- Experience with data science toolkits, preferably PyTorch, Numpy, Tensorflow, GGplot
- Experience with scripting and coding, preferably Python
- Must have at least a Bachelor degree in data science, mathematics or statistics
- Must have at least 3 years hands-on machine learning experience in any industry
