Job information
- designing, developing, planning and implementing test strategies covering various applications within the Enterprise Business Intelligence analytics platform
- conducting and coordinating test runs, automating where possible
- back-end testing of all ETL, data warehousing and data mart stages
- test case specification and maintenance of test case repositories
- test data definition and automation of test data generation
- writing and reviewing test documentation
- presenting test results and approving releases

Generally required knowledge:
- degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or several years of equivalent work
experience as Quality Engineer
- knowledge in functional as well as in the field of test automation methodologies for front and
backend applications
- experience with the definition and controlling of QA processes
- SQL skills
knowledge of product platforms like Pentaho Data Integration & Big Data, Cloudera Enterprise Data Hub, Oracle and Infobright
- understanding of tools such as Ant, Maven and Jenkins
- experience with agile software development processes and technics and Linux operation system
- English - spoken and written knowledge
