Job information

- designing the processes within data warehouse and big data
- creating and maintain data models
- writing and reviewing the documentation
- maintaining the non functional requirements
- ensuring high quality and usability of developed applications
- providing the guide lines for development teams
- proposing improvements, new innovative solutions and technologies for data processing and BI
- realizing proof of concepts to validate new technologies and techniques for data processing
- providing an overview of modern technologies for data processing

Generally required knowledge:

- degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or any related field
- experience with the definition and controlling of ETL processes as well as big data technologies for data processing in an Hadoop environment
- SQL skills
- knowledge of product platforms like Big Data, Cloudera Enterprise Data Hub, Oracle, MPP databases, columinardatabases, BI tools
- understanding of tools such as Ant, Maven and Jenkins, Soapui, jUnit, Jira, Confluence
- experience with agile software development processes and technics (e.g. SCRUM)
- experience with Linux operation system
- English - spoken and written English knowledge
- experience in electronic payment processes and applications would be a plus
- experience as a Software Architect for Data Warehouse and Big Data would be a plus
