Responsibilitis: - Installs, updates, tunes and diagnoses applications in Quality Assurance, Customer Testing and Production environments - Monitors designated applications and infrastructure, takes corrective actions to prevent or minimize errors or even system downtimes - Provides application performance tuning - Works closely with application development teams to tune and troubleshoot applications - Root cause analysis providing - Provides 3rd Level support for the applications - Actively participates on projects - Takes initiative in continuous improvement - Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned

Generally required knowledge:
Requirments: - Strong Linux experience including scripting (Bash/ Python/ Ruby/ Perl) for administration tasks - Comprehensive knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios) - Experience with Java application (e.g. Tomcat, WebLogic) - Experience in Puppet, RPM and most common revision control systems - Experience with agile development and project management methods is a plus - Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools - Excellent communication skills in English
