IT Integration Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Integration Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Integration Specialist, to support the end-to-end integration solutions lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.within our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in IT who is eager to grow their skills in system integration, middleware solutions, and IT operations.

You will be integral in ensuring that our systems communicate effectively, operate efficiently, and meet the business requirements of our diverse internal stakeholders.

Your key responsibility will be:

1. System Integration & Implementation:

• Assist in the implementation of middleware solutions, ensuring seamless integration between various systems (SAP, Salesforce, Betsy and other critical business applications) and AWS.
• Collaborate with the Senior Integration Specialist in designing, developing, and testing interfaces between different systems.
• Support the creation of detailed design and technical specification documents for outsourced developers.

2. Operational Support:

• Participate in the maintenance of existing integrations, including patching, bug fixing, and troubleshooting, serving as the primary technical contact for business teams.
• Monitor system integrations to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently and to proactively identify integration issues and resolve them promptly.
• Provide operational support by addressing and resolving any issues related to system performance.
• Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation strategies to ensure data integrity and accuracy across integrated systems.

3. Technical Design & Documentation:

• Contribute to the creation of architecture diagrams and technical documentation for system implementations.
• Work closely with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document all integration processes and maintain a detailed log of system changes and updates.

4. DevOps & Continuous Improvement:

• Engage in activities that support a DevOps culture, including the automation of processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and integration processes.

5. Collaboration & Learning:

• Work alongside the Senior Integration Specialist to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in integration technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and IT operations, to deliver integrated solutions.

6. Security & Compliance:

• Work alongside IT compliance team to ensure system security, business process compliance, and alignment with audit requirements such as SOC and SOX
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and frameworks. Collaborate with Internal Risk & Compliance, Group IT Security and Internal Audit teams to conduct security assessments and address findings in a timely manner.
• Develop and manage automated security testing tools and processes to seamlessly integrate security checks into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Facilitate the automation of security controls and compliance checks.

Place of work: Remote working mode with occasional business trips across Slovakia and Hungary.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in system integration, middleware implementation, or IT operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and CRM systems (Salesforce) is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS is beneficial.

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of integration technologies, such as APIs, web services, and middleware platforms.
• Basic coding skills in languages such as C#, Python, PowerShell or JavaScript.
  o Experience with SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of system architecture and design principles.o Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Experience with Mobile application developments is beneficial.

Soft Skills:

• Confident English language in both spoken and written form.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• English language - B2 is a must
• Hungarian language - big advantage
