You will shine as a Mobile iOS App Developer, and you will be given the opportunity of a lifetime to bring your ideas and experience to a software development team working on a brand-new incubation product. You will be working in an agile environment as a member in a Scrum team and report to the Mobile Development Team Lead.
Your first mission:
Together with the other team members: create Foxit’s next game-changing iOS app!
Your responsibilities:
- As a member of the SCRUM team: implement tasks and stories, ask for guidance and hints when you need some, and make sure that your team mates also receive the support they may need. Reach the sprint goals.
- You safeguard the development process by wisely using unit tests on your work.
- You document your work where appropriate (in the source code directly or in Confluence).
- You abundantly contribute your experience in the Refinement meetings. Stories and tasks often need concrete participation from the developers.
- You take pride in your work and can present it to stakeholders during the Sprint Review meetings.
- You make Continuous Improvement happen by actively and constructively participating in the Retrospectives.
You can bring this to the team:
- 3 to 7 years of track-proven, hands-on experience as an iOS developer, developing non-trivial iOS apps in Swift,
- Knowledge and practical experience with iOS app development environments, workflows and the app life cycle,
- Experience with the development of synchronizing collaboration apps (e.g. similar to GoogleDocs, Etherpad, etc.) is a clear plus,
- Experience with SCRUM and agile product development methods and the enthusiasm for software development and technology,
- Your drive for coding excellence and have fluent communication skills at all levels, in English, both written and verbally.
