Network Designer in Voice and Data Platforms Tribe

Job Purpose

Design and implementation of services in area of fixed broadband and AAA platforms. You will be also responsible for capacity planning and performance monitoring of service platforms.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Technical evaluation of business requirements
• Communication and cooperation with platform vendors
• Preparation of technical documentation and inputs, service configuration, technical coordination of delivery and deployments

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Technical English - written and spoken
• Local language – native speaker (CZ or SK)
• Communication and presentation skills
• Team player
• Networking fundamentals – routing, switching, NAT, TCP/IP (CCNA/CCNP desirable)

Desirable Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in telecommunication environment – basic knowledge of mobile or fixed network architecture
• Experience with AAA platform (RADIUS, DIAMETER,..)
• Experience/knowledge of fixed network access and core technologies – MSAN/DSLAM, BRAS/BNG, CG-NAT, GPON, DOCSIS, IPv6 transition mechanisms
• Experience/knowledge of protocols: IPv6, RADIUS, DIAMETER, L2TP, PPP/PPPoE
• Network troubleshooting skills (tcpdump, wireshark)
• Experience/knowledge of virtualization/ cloud solutions.
