Client Master Data Execution (CMDE) Team is a part of IBM Global Chief Data Office organization and it is responsible for the creation, update and maintenance of customer master records (CMR) and Global Buying Group alignment.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible to guarantee all client and sales documents for the CMR creation and update are valid and complete including monthly checks on the Denied Partner List (DPL), a mandatory check that guarantees IBM to keep its right to sell and do business worldwide
• Performs customer number validation/creation/update in several systems and also directly on the Global Rdc system
• Performs the Client ID validation of the CMR searching different tools like Hoovers, Dun & Bradstreet and OneSource and internal tools like the Global Buying Group (GBG) checker to guarantee that Customer Master Records will be create with the right client alignment
• Maintains client hierarchy / performs proactive customer data maintenance using weekly and monthly reports and perform corrections based on the self-driven investigation in the different systems contain Client Master Data information
• Performs proactive data analysis to ensure ongoing data quality
• Supports the business with month and quarter close with extended support according to the market and geo’s needs
