As a Front-End HTML 5 Engineer, you'll…

Utilize user experience design, usability, user interface design and interaction design along with front-end development to create consumer facing and internal web applications utilizing tools and skills, including HTML, SCSS, Responsive Design, JavaScript etc., promote and ensure a consistent look, feel and experience across multiple platforms while evolving user experience concepts, providing design layouts, workflows, prototypes and high – fidelity graphics.

Responsibilities

Delivery of high-performance web user experiences leveraging responsive UI/UX frameworks and applying industry best practices to drive customer engagement.
Accelerate web application development through the creation of a library of atomic UX components in tools such as pattern lab or storybook.
Partner with front end developers to tune UX for responsiveness and compatibility.
Ensuring responsive design works across computing platforms.
Uses various analytical IT processes and independent judgment to develop innovative solutions, executes enhancements, and resolves complex technical challenges to deliver consistent quality services to IT solutions and platforms.
Contributes to efforts in the technical planning, architecture development, and changes in specifications.
Work as technical specialist alongside business, product development and infrastructure teams within a distributed agile environment.

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer science, computer engineering or similar.
Work experience as an UI/UX developer with HTML5 and SASS.
4 – 6 years relevant development experience.
Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.
4+ years of experience leading UX development in HTML5, CSS3, SASS.
4+ years creating user interactions with JavaScript.
Proficient with build tools, Webpack, pre-processors, and asset pipeline
Proficient with collaborative tools like Git.
Self-starter with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, a team player with a 'winning as a team' attitude.
Ability to write and speak in the English language.
Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.
Preferred

Experience with React.js or AngularJS.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Experience working in a life sciences environment.
Familiarity with regulated systems and general level of understanding of quality systems validation.
