We work on an amazing software system and we're looking for a self-sufficient and responsible engineer to take care of it.Main application: license management system is a highly integrated software solution, which helps our customers around the world to download and update software components for various servers and systems they have purchased, maintain licenses and support contracts, toggle hardware features and many more.
You will be joining a newly forming team.
Your role and responsibilities
- Transform existing successful application to a modern software stack of your choice (Java, Kotlin, etc) form scratch
- Design state-of-art APIs
- Integrate the system with existing infrastructure components as SQL-databases, NoSQL, and message brokers
- Maintain large amounts of data (currently ~2PB)
What do you need for success
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Experience architecting complex microservice-based solutions
- Possess strong knowledge of Java and be proficient in reading and understanding of C code
- Be ready to work with J2EE as a part of the legacy
- Experience in REST and other APIs design
- Be familiar with modern data management solutions (ex: Cassandra, Kafka, relational databases, MQ)
- Familiarity with modern development instruments and practices (Git*-flows, Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jira, etc.)
