Your Role :
We are the IBM CIO Network engineering team and we are looking for an experienced IP Services IP Address Management (IPAM) Data Quality Specialist to support the IBM internal network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with IPAM data, monitor, analyze, update and correct where needed.
Functions and Responsibilities :
- Proactively analyze the IPAM Data and provide analysis, suggestions and recommendations based on those analysis to the architectural team.
- Manage, Add, Change, Delete IPAM Data
- Document all changes to meet audit requirements.
- Build, update and implement automated scripts to improve the IPAM data quality
- Partner with service providers and network hardware/software vendors to define solution configurations that leverage latest capabilities and provide stable and reliable operations.
- Define key management reports required to validate global compliance with architecture, operations, and security standards, and identify automated ways of producing these reports.
- Identify reoccurring incidents and find solutions by leading support groups through root cause analysis sessions, major incident review, trending, elimination of known errors, problem ticket follows through, etc.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues with other network engineers to identify root cause and recommend solutions.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
- Experienced in MS Excel and or similar products
- Programming and scripting skills
- Understanding of IPv4 & IPv6 based networks
- Basic Network understanding
- Basic security and audit skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information technology or similar
