OBJECTIVES:

The SAP Analytics Solution Platform Engineer is the IT partner for build and delivery of data platform solutions (infrastructure)
The SAP Analytics Solution Platform Engineer ensures that within the selected technical framework platforms and applications are tied together in a way that allow them to work as an integrated whole
The SAP Analytics Solution Platform Engineer enable product engineers in the delivery of solutions to business users through the provision of platform capabilities and services


ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Technical framework from both a services and capability perspective tie together in an integrated and optimized way that enable business objectives
Installation and configuration of platform components is in place correctly and to best practice
Configuration administration of both hardware and software is deployed and road-mapped linked to future activities and maintenance
·Platform based reporting is installed, published and acted on where appropriate
·Ongoing review linked to Takeda technical changes impacting both end users and data centers are tracked and integrated into installation and software deployments
Engage and integrate with Platform Architects, Product Owners and related team members in ensuring ongoing alignment on platform requirements and changes / topics
Technical framework from both a services and capability perspective tie together in an integrated and optimized way that enable business objectives
SAP Analytics Solutions (SAP BW / Hana / Analytics Cloud / Data Warehouse Cloud) technical expertise and experience
·Expertise in SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language
Experience developing and maintaining SAP data warehouses, additional experience with ‘big data’ platforms also expected (AWS)
Experience with developing solutions on SAP based cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data and analytics space (preferred)
Database development experience SAP BW and SAP Hana
Worked with front end visualization tools – QLIK / SAP Analytics Cloud preferred
Direct knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
Exposure to / Interest in machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and/or applied mathematics

Similarly situated employees earn 3833 € gross a month. Salary is based on experience

Minimum required education

First Level University Education (Bachelor's Degree)

Language skills

Generally required knowledge

Required:

Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering preferred
5 years of experience working in platform engineering architecture role, 7+ preferred
Expertise in SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language
Experience with SAP BW and BO (min. 5 years)
Database development experience
Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data
Preferred:

Additional Languages: Chef, R, Javascript
Understanding of AWS (S3, EC2, Redshift, EMR, Athena)
Experience with a Rapid UI tools: EX: Tableau
Experience with any of the following Frameworks: Spring, Django, R Shiny, Tensorflow, MXNet
Understanding or Application of Machine Learning and / or Deep Learning
Experience in a scientific environment.
