Job information

We are looking for MariaDB Administrator/Architect to the team of oue client. Location: Bratislava or Kosice or Brno.

Responsibilities

• You will work as an integral part of an agile team to develop and maintain web applications and scripting. Will be required to adhere to the principles of scrum (honesty, openness, and transparency) in all work. May be required to collaborate with other teams within the organization to deliver product documentation.
• Prefer candidate with a comprehensive and demonstrable understanding of MySQL and MariaDB.
• Must have experience with database clustering. Familiarity with and experience in Linux and general LAMP stack arrangements. 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SQL database design, query analysis, performance optimization, reverse engineering. Can be a combination of Oracle and MySQL/MariaDB.

Requirements

• Fluent in English language
• Expert knowledge of MySQL and MariaDB with clustering
• Galera clustering
• Ability to write thorough product documentation

Preferred, but not mandatory

• Docker, Jenkins, Git/GitHub
• Oracle
• Python, Django, React knowledge
• Agile methodology, JIRA
