Job information

Responsibilities: 

• Managing all centralized VAT compliance obligations 
• Ensuring that all VAT and related returns are diligently prepared and filed on time and payments are executed in due course 
• Monitor indirect tax compliance activities including: data reconciliation, tax working papers and monthly general ledger account  reconciliations 
• Lead a VAT team   
• Review and improve VAT compliance related process 
• Cooperate with the other sub-groups in the EMEA Indirect Tax function on VAT related projects and tax authority inquiries
• Analyze problems, opportunities and circumstances and their potential impacts on the business to evaluate alternatives and make effective recommendations and decisions  

Requirements: 

• Fluent English- written and spoken 
• Around 5 years of experience in the area of Indirect Taxes 
• Experience with centralized VAT compliance processes, ideally for countries across EMEA region 
• Practical advanced experience with ERP systems 
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles 
• Customer Focus and “can-do” spirit
