Job information

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of PLC PROGRAMMER (ELECTRICAL/ MECHATRONICS).
The successful candidate will be key to support the installation and commissioning of the newly developed production systems and once Production has commenced. Provide Shop Floor support to ensure the equipment is maintained and operates within the required parameters to ensure Volume Quality is achieved on a regular basis.

- Provide Day to Day Maintenance Support for the Trim and Final Facilities
- Undertake OPR improvements in assigned area to achieve desired target using SCADA data.
- Undertake TA data analysis and rectify issues in assigned area to achieve design TA Target using SCADA data.
- Be able to analyse Data and develop and implement actions based on that Data to improve MTTR & MTBF,
- Drive Continuous Improvements in assigned area across all Facilities
- All PLC SW modification, update, back up programs.
- Procedures for scheduling , spares check, control, HMI upgrade, all SW ntbs, line PCs
- Be able to work in a time pressured environment

Information for the applicant:

- Completion of college diploma or Apprenticeship in: Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical Discipline, ideally in in an High Speed Automation Environment
- Broad knowledge of maintaining some of the automated equipment identified. i.e Robots, motion controls, PLC’s Adhesive, Manipulators, conveyor systems, Electronical screws DC and Air Tools.
- Flexibility in working patterns and approaches to achieve overall business goals
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Safety standards to be able to create risk assessments for industrial automation equipment
- Proficiency fault finding on programming industrial equipment: Ladder logic PLCs, Safety PLCs, Human Machine Interface, Field bus Networks, Ethernet communications and monitoring systems
- Pro-active strength of debugging and resolving key constraints, effective problem solving & root cause analysis using adequate toolsets
- Good knowledge of Google & MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and Project)
- Fluently speaking English and Slovakian language skills
- Be prepared to work Shifts as deemed by the company.
- Weekend working is expected to be supported
