Job information

Responsibilities: 

• Lead accounting team during month end process and ensure all activities performed within deadlines
• Responsibility for results of the team, quality of work, people rotation and staffing
• Ensure journal entries are posted according to defined procedures
• Utilizing knowledge on month end process, posting of accruals, maintaining of financial reporting and general ledger structure
• Ensure proper monthly FX revaluation and maintain FX revaluation accounts
• Active involvement in projects 
• Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed 
• Support resolution of accounting issues by outlining available options
• Ensure smooth daily operations by proper allocation of transactional volume to the team
• Quality and SOX controls, participate on audits
• Participate on transitions and process stabilizations 
• Drive continuous improvement and cost saving within the department, train and support team member to actively participate on projects

Requirements:

• Fluent in English is a must 
• University degree in business administration or adequate experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting
• Min. 5 years in the Accounting department 
• MS-Office and ERPs knowledge 
• Experience with transitions or special projects
• IFRS and/or US GAAP certification is advantage
• Min 2 years of experience with leading people
