RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and implements the IT Transition/Transformation project as part of overall Transition/Transformation program
  • Financial management for IT Transition/Transformation activities, including setting/reviewing budget and seeking funding approval
  • Selecting and assigning Subject Matter Experts or Project Managers to head each aspect of IT Transition/Transformation including: Employee Day 1 Connectivity, Messaging Services, Remote Access Services, Voice Services, customer IT services continuity/discontinuity, internal PC refresh, Network, etc. excellent
  • Acquiring staff and material resources for the IT Transition/Transformation project and associated activities
  • Leading IT Transition/Transformation team during Transition/Transformation phases of the deal
  • Ensuring that all activities in IT Transition/Transformation Project Plan is consistent, congruent, and integrate with the overall MS Deal Project Plan
  • Supporting the Subject Matter Experts and Project Managers of IT Transition/Transformation projects in developing each project's scope of work, estimates, schedule, dependency and risk assessment/management plan
  • Managing, or supporting Subject Matter Experts and Project Managers of IT Transition/Transformation projects in execution of Transition/Transformation activities.
  • Escalating major Transition/Transformation issues to the overall Transition/Transformation Manager with recommendations on how to address
  • Responsible for project communication and project reporting both to Customer, MS Deal Project and ITA Management during Transition/Transformation phase
  • Responsible for ensuring lessons learnt from specific Transition/Transformation project are captured and fed into ITA SO team


REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years experience 
  • Basic understanding of the IT Outsourcing, Services, and Support industry
  • Transition/Transformation Methodology training
  • Ability to manage large diverse teams in a project setting from various subject matter areas.
  • Understanding and usage of Project Management tools including a working knowledge of risk management, financial reporting and reconciliation, MS Project, and Global Methods.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse, foreign and multi-cultural environments, on a Country, Regional or Global Level
  • Demonstrated success working effectively under short timeframes and significant pressure.
  • Ability to work up to Director/Executive level internally and middle level management in customer organization
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Negotiation skills
