Job information
We are seeking a person who will facilitate EDI connections with customers and who will support logistics operations in other improvement project.
Main Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document requirements
- Development of EDI program to interface into ERP system, to accept client order data
- Development of EDI program to interface into warehouse management system and ERP system to provide delivery information to client
- Preparation of reports based on business requirements
- Analysis of client data to measure accuracy of client forecasts to subsequent forecast periods
- Develop coordinate and implement continuous improvement projects within the Logistics Department
- Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Develop or maintain incident-reporting system, procedures for applications support and system maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in computer science or IT related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in “hands on” EDI programming applications
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft VB, SQL, FTP and XML
- Knowledge of ERP systems and reporting writing
- Previous experience in similar role with a medium to large organization
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written including presentation English and Slovakian
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Excellent time management skills and ability to priorities projects and initiatives
