Job information

The Legal & Compliance Operations Analyst supports the Head of L&C Divisional Operations Office and the team in managing and administering key tools and processes owned by the team specifically legal entity information management and outside counsel management.

Legal Entity Information Management
• Administrate Swiss Re's tool which captures legal entity information which includes as examples acting as the main point of contact for questions and support needed for the tool, access management, training, maintenance of user manuals and testing of changes to the tool.
• Run regular and ad hoc reports from the tool for various users.
• Continually seek ways to improve and streamline the tool and processes.

Outside Counsel Management
• Support the sourcing process of managing outside counsel by maintaining oversight of all Letters of Engagement by logging them in the Swiss Re contract tool, documenting key reference information for users and reviewing and approving purchase orders for sourcing outside counsel.
• Support the quarterly review of outside counsel by performing detailed spend and savings analysis and other operational KPIs.

Operations
• Support the coordination of other operational Group and Divisional projects, initiatives and tasks as necessary.

Generally required knowledge:

Education and experience
• University degree preferably in business administration or law
• 1-2 years professional work experience
• Fluency and excellent communication skills in English required
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently but also part of a global team
• Prioritisation and organisational skills
• Ability to work in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures and ambiguous or changing circumstances

Required education:
University education (Master's degree)
