Main duties: Benefits:
- Perform technical analysis, system design, implementation, unit/system testing of the database changes or interfaces according to business needs
- Work closely with different teams to gain understanding of business requirements and interfaces
- Collaborate with other teams in defining functionality, scope and time lines
- Ensure the data warehouse solutions get developed in an agile, flexible way and remain maintainable by keeping a clean design and following internal standards
- Improve data flows and enhance the automation of interfaces
- Improve data quality, enhance data validation and perform reconciliations
- Key skills include the ability to bring ideas from concept to reality and being able to communicate effectively to all stakeholders
- Maintain technical documentations for reference purposes
Requirements:
- Master's degree level or equivalent in computer science or related field.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle) development skills
- DB and DWH modelling experience
- Knowledge of ETL, BI, Data Vault concepts is a plus
- Curiosity and willingness to constantly learn and improve
- Openness to new approaches in data warehousing (e.g. big data solutions, in-memory technology)
- Ability to understand complex information models and IT solutions
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum) is a plus
- Team player combined with a proactive approach and a 'can do' attitude
- Communication skills – fluent in English
