Job description and responsibilities

• Developing and growing near-shore test services
• Creating Testing Frameworks, Test Strategies, Test approaches and delivering managed test services
• Test Environment assessment and managing test environment maintenance
• Test strategy implementation and management
• Estimation expert for test activities across preparation, execution and support, incl. defect handling
• Managing whole test lifecycle across functional, non-functional and the business
• Managing global test teams with travel as required
• Managing multiple test phases across a whole program of functional, technical and business streams
• Managing stakeholder expectations
• Devise and implement Client Expectation definition and management / dashboard scoping, setup & management
• Shape, set-up and run test automation capabilities, facilities and specialist teams
• Track record of project delivery on time and in budget
• Produce and publish test reports
• Coordinate all activities and testers during testing phases
• Manage transition from manual to automated tests
• People management responsibilities (skill development, trainings etc.)

Required skills and experience

• Developing test strategies, test plans
• Managing test design and execution
• Produce accurate and comprehensive reports on testing progress as well as issues
• Experience of test management and defect-tracking tools
• Experience in Risk management
• Familiar with lifecycle quality assurance and global test strategy experience
• Experience in Test Data management, Performance Engineering, Functional Test Automation, Tools Optimization
• Ability to plan and co-ordinate test environment requirements
• Demonstrable success in standardizing test tools, test frameworks, and test processes to increase cost savings
• Shaping, leading and implementing Testing Transformation Services based on client needs
• Complex Application Lifecycle Management, Capital markets platforms, core banking platforms, cards and payments
• Familiar with project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
• Excellent communication skills in English & German
