Responsible for start
-up activities of new production plant
Managing all plant activities and departments
Setting short time and long
-time objectives, managing activities to achieve objectives
Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which minimize production cost through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital
Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule
Making sure that products are produced on time and achieving quality target
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
Preparing reports to a mother company
Acting as main advisor or mentor to employees
Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters in plant
Generally required knowledge:
* Technical University Education
* Several years of experience with managing production company or production or related departments
* Strong technical thinking and ability to solve technical issues
* Experience with start
-up production preferably
* Very good managerial skill
* Very good presentation and communication skills
* Fluent in English of French language
