Job information

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished payments specialist to join a major and expanding international company providing the best possible employee benefit solutions worldwide. PAYMENT SPECIALIST is responsible for: - Reporting to the Financial Controller & Senior Payments Manager - Assistance with processing of invoices and claims for payment for goods and services received and related to the company - Preparation and data entry of accounts for payment Daily monitoring and completing of the payments processing (of creditor accounts) and other check activities - Communication with serviced branches with the Company Network - Cooperation with all departments of the company - Administrative support related to payments processing in special cases - To ensure timely payment of all invoices in accordance with financial regulations and standing orders as amended from time to time - Authorize and post journal entries as required - Ensure suppliers statements are reconciled and dealt with promptly in accordance with corporate customer care standards

Generally required knowledge:

The suitable candidate should meet the following attributes: - University degree, mainly in the area Finance or Business Administration - Minimum 3 years of banking experience in payments processing area - Good knowledge of international banking practice with regard to SEPA, SWIFT - Fluent English (written and spoken) - Advanced in MS Office (mainly Excel) - Understanding of corporate processing environment and experience with document processing is an advantage - Responsible and precise kind of person with proactive approach to work - Good communication skills - Team player - “Willing to an extra mile”
