The international company with nice family atmosphere is currently looking for a new inspiration to their General Ledger team who is going to be solely responsible for the assigned region. Your main duties include: - Perform regular General ledger activities - Overall responsibility over consolidation activities for assigned region - Completion and summarization of recorded journal entries processed by junior accountants - Ensuring correctness of the records on the general ledger level - Preparation of financial statements - Regular reporting of company’s financial results to mother company - Month – end closing activities - Balance sheet reconciliation - Participation on strategic financial decisions in the company - Tracking the changes in necessary legislation - Preparation of necessary analysis together with the senior management - Every-day work on continuous improvements of the department processes

Generally required knowledge:
The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria: - University degree in financial area - Min. 3 years experience in accounting in international company - Experience with accounting on General Ledger level is a MUST - Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS - Active knowledge of English language and Turkish language - Advanced user of MS Office - Ability to work in dynamic, fast - changing environment - Multi-tasking personality - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - Permission to work in EU is MUST
