The Regional Migrations & Projects Manager is responsible for all regional projects and migrations within a region of respective End
-to
-End processes in scope (incl. HtR, StP, BtR, QtC, IT, Controlling) from the Company to the GSS throughout the complete migration cycle of preparation, transition, and stabilization phase.
In this role, the Regional Migrations & Projects Manager drives the detailed planning, coordination of teams and execution of all activities relating to transitioning of the processes in scope and cooperate closely with the involved work streams and departments. The role requires to monitor the progress, quality and the risks in respect to the migration.
Supports Center Operation Lead in developing and implementing the regional center strategy in accordance to Global GSS strategy (Alignment with Global Strategy Lead)
Drives and executes the migration strategy and activities with the support of a local transition team / experts in each center predefined by Global Strategy Lead
Supports the GSS operations in designing on
-time the receiving organization and monitor the adequate staffing and qualification of the future functional team in the migration phase in alignment with the POLs. Consults the retiring company in planning the adequate organizational interfaces and related requirements in alignment with Global Strategy Lead
Plans task allocation to resources and set priorities
Reports migration status and risks to the Global Strategy Lead and to the Regional Center Operations Lead on a regular basis (weekly, monthly), based on updated detailed plans
Implements risk mitigation actions to assure a smooth on time migration of processes in scope
Collaborates with regional GSS management team to clarify interfaces to GSS
-owned activities and ensure organized hand
-over of remaining responsibilities during/ after stabilization
Formulates overall approach for all projects in the Region for all End
-to
-End processes
Executes migration plan and coordinate adjustments. Ensures that requirements for a successful transition planning and migration are fulfilled (e.g. knowledge transfer).
Creates and sign
-off the wave migration plan for each of the transition waves and on
-going monitoring. Adapt migration approach to changing conditions and requirements.
Supports knowledge transfer and manage GSS resources and affected local resources during knowledge transfer
Provides operational interface for project internal communication and alignment (service management, recruiting, training)

Generally required knowledge:

* Proficiency knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access), email and internet
* Ability to understand SAP processes
* Good knowledge of IT landscape
* English (Fluent written and spoken) is must
* German (Fluent written and spoken FOR EMEA) is advantage
* Excellent Planning and organizational talent

* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

* 3+ years migration / transition management
* 6+ years in Global shared services
* 6+ years in project management
* Proven ability in coordinating teams and developing relationships
* Good understanding of StP, QtC, HtR, BtR, IT and Controlling processes
* Ability to develop, manage and execute migration plans
* Working experience in products industry (Business to Customer)
* Experience in Change Management, HR and Quality programs (process improvement)
* Entrepreneurship and experience of setting up service organizations
* Strong project management skills/experience
* Leadership skills/experience (e.g. in cross
-functional and international teams as well as in integration projects)
* Cultural competence and high willingness to travel
