Job information

An interesting position will be within the technology group of the Slovakian production site. According to this function you will be responsible for: - the fermentation-processes, down-stream processes or the fermentation lab - all aspects of process and technology transfer or implementation - proper exchange of information with R&D or customers - development of media and process conditions for different strains - proper communication of technological questions within production site - trouble shooting in case of technological problems and setting of goals/technology targets, - budgeting, management of human resources, leadership of interdisciplinary project teams - effective communication despite high number of interfaces and multi-national team members - analysis of lab or production processes and documentation/distribution of these results - planning of lab or production trials, evaluation and documentation/distribution of these results - screening of scientific literature in the field

Generally required knowledge:

- sound Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Technical Microbiology or Biotechnology skills, PhD degree will be advantageous - working experience in fermentation based production site (on project basis or permanent) - experience in the development of fermentation process will be very helpful - excellent problem solving, technical and computer skills - excellent leadership skills and experience with leading project teams, ability to work effectively in a multi-national, interdisciplinary team - strong orientation towards financial and technical results and fast implementation of innovation into industrial practice
